Over the last few weeks I’ve been busy in my voiceover studio recording a varied range of voiceover projects.

I’ve recently recorded  a new video narration for Dotmailer. This is a continuation of a series of videos I’ve done for this email auto-responder company.

The new video was to promote the range of tools available to help you optimise your marketing and targeted emails to potential customers.

I’ve also been working with an established client on a project that is a new one for me – providing a “character” voice. Skywide are working with Aquafresh and wanted a “super hero” type voice to go with an animation they were producing for internal use at the company.  Having provided a demo with an English version and a sort of US accent version the client decided to go with the American tinged voice. The video is still in production but once it completed, if I can, I’ll link to it. It was fun to do something different!

In addition, my on-going project with Voxcast in the Netherlands has re-started after a break for the Christmas/New Year period. I’ve been providing  voice over narration for a series of short videos for an educational establishment. The content is economic theory in the context of manufacture and retail sectors. My colleague at Voxcast is Michiel Koudstaal – he’s providing the Dutch version of the videos while I provide the English.  It’s a big project – we’ve done 10-15 scripts with still another 25 videos or so to go. It’s been an interesting project with the most recent batch of scripts covering production management.

In addition there have been voiceovers for a number of radio ads – including for Etihad Airways and Du in the UAE plus I’ve recorded more phone messages for the IVR system at Legal and General.

I’ve also provided a voice-over narration for a video about the work and services provided by logistics company Blue Arrow. It’s being produced by a local company – Chemical Code based in Warwick.
