Narration tuned to the right frequency.

One of the delights of voice over work is the range and variety of projects that come my way and the chance they offer for me to learn about all sorts of new things.

A short while ago I was asked by Leagus Video in Huddersfield to record four video voice over narrations on a subject I have previously never encountered.

The videos were to explain the equipment used and the theories behind the therapy known as bioresonance.  Despite having recorded many narrations on medical or pharmaceutical topics over the years I had never come across this therapy which is apparently designed to work with the body’s natural rhythms and ability to heal itself.

Reson8 logoBioresonance therapy has it’s roots in the 1970s and is based on the work of a German medical doctor Dr Franz Morrel. His idea was that each cell in the body emits it’s own natural electromagnetic frequency. Diseases disrupt these frequencies and lead to ill health. A bioresonance therapist will analyse the electromagnetic radiation to identify and separate the healthy frequencies from the “disease” frequencies and will then use a device to transmit back to the body more of the “healthy” frequencies in a bid to intensify them and so promote a positive effect.

Bioresonance is quite widely used in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands – it is also extensively used in China, especially with children. Although it is being used in the UK there is still considerable ignorance about it both in the medical profession and the general public. The videos I recorded the voice over for are part of a process of providing more information about bioresonance therapy and the equipment used in treatment.

It is claimed by BICOM (the company manufacturing the therapeutic equipment) that bioresonance can be used to positive effect on skin conditions, gastro-intestinal disorders as well as helping fight weight gain, help with stopping smoking and also treating dental health disorders.

You can find out more about this unusual complimentary therapy on the Reson8 website.
