Dutch film-makers Izzyworks recently invited me to  record the voice over narration for a short film they were making describing the progress of some companies in The Netherlands as they made the switch to power supplies based on sources of renewable energy.

I’ve worked for Izzyworks before and like the fact that they often ask for voice over narration for videos that are a little bit different from the usual corporate narrations. This video looked at a major producer of flowers and an international airport and the changes being made by their respective staff and management as they transitioned to more sustainable usage of energy.

I found it an interesting project and I liked the fact that a few weeks after sending them my recorded VO narration I got an email from Nynke La Porte at Izzyworks that said:

“Just got a phone call about the film on energy transition. Client was very happy, called it energetic (bruisend) and very informative. Way better than other films they had produced on this subject.”

Clearly the praise is for the whole team involved in the production but it’s nice to be a part of something that’s been appreciated by the client.
