Latest from the voiceover studio

dvoicebox wave formI’ve been pretty busy in the dVoicebox studio with plenty of voiceover recording plus much editing to produce finished audio for a range of clients.  I’ve just been revisiting a voiceover project I first recorded last year – providing a voiceover narration explaining about a substance used to treat cancer patients.

Another of my recent voiceover jobs was for an elearning project for staff working at Waitrose – training them in ways of forming a better understanding of the kinds of people who are their customers – and what motivates their purchasing decisions.

There was plenty more editing too with the recording of the second half of a voiceover for an elearning project for B&Q.  It’s a project to explain to their staff the company’s environmental and sustainability policies – and so help the staff get the environmental message across to customers.

Although, as posted recently, I’ve bought a Neumann U87 mic – I found I was back working with my trusty AT4033 for all of these voice-over projects – mainly because I was having to match audio to earlier projects recorded with the Audio Technica mic.  It’s given me a chance to compare the two and I’ll post my (very subjective views) very soon.

Crizotinib narration was for Random 42 medical animation.
Waitrose voiceover was for Oxford SM
B&Q One Planet Home elearning was for KnowledgeFront
