Voiceover studio news

I’ve been providing voiceovers for a wide variety of corporate projects recently.  One that was especially interesting to me was for Magma Structures. I found it fascinating because it was an area that I previously knew nothing about.  My voiceover narration was for an on-line video to promote the work of this company that make carbon fibre structures. They’ve created art and architecture projects out of this incredibly strong versatile material that’s lighter than metal.

One particularly eye catching project is the Maltese Falcon. It’s a three masted yacht – it’s actually a clipper so in effect it’s like a modern day Cutty Sark. I was fascinated by sailing ships when I was a boy so I guess that’s why this one caught my eye.

Magma Structures created the masts. Each is over 200 feet tall and all are free standing and rotate so although the ship superficially looks like a traditional sailing ship there’s no rigging holding the masts up!  It’s an amazing and graceful piece of maritime engineering.

Two of my other recent corporate training voiceovers were for companies looking at tightening up their data security procedures – so I can’t talk about those.

The other voiceover narration this week was to promote Tradeweb – a more effective and secure way of making on-line trades in the ETF market.

The Magma Structures video was produced by Rebecca Battman Ltd
The Tradeweb project is being produce by Breathing Juice.
