News from the voiceover booth

I’ve had an another busy few weeks in my studio recording quite a range of voice-over projects.

HCL_Smileon_logoThere’s certainly been quite a medical theme to quite a lot of the recent voice over work. For example I’ve just finished recording and editing the voice over for a professional development programme for dentists. The topics covered included assessing gingival health and also applying Evidence Based Decision Making. With the latter the dentist uses the internet to research on-line data bases asking particular specific questions in order to come up with the most effective and up to date treatment for their patient.

One of the other medical voice over projects dealt with an area of the body at the other end, anatomically, from the mouth with a project looking at healthy feet.  Additionally I provided the voiceover for a further project looking at infection by and treatment of herpes.

Voxcastlogo_smI’ve been learning more about inventory management as part of providing voice-overs for an on-going project in partnership with Voxcast in Holland. Michiel Koudstaal from Voxcast provides the Dutch voice over narration and I provide the English VO for a series of short educational videos looking at the economics of running a business.

bailey_trailer_logoIn addition I’ve been providing the voiceover narration for a short video explaining the specification and uses of Bailey Trailer’s fuel bowsers in the context of highly mechanised agriculture in Lincolnshire and across the UK.

tesco_logoIn between times I provided a VO for a training project for staff who work for Tesco – this is a continuation of a project started earlier in the year – plus I’ve recorded voiceovers for BSCI and ITG.

There have been a few ISDN sessions too with, amongst others, a series of radio adverts for new fares from Etihad in the UAE. I also recorded and delivered two voiceover updates to a major on-going multi-module training project for Zenosis.
All that and more phone messages for Legal and General too!

It will be a pleasant relief to take a short break for Christmas – but I’ll be back in the studio and available to record before New Year.

All the medical projects were for Healthcare Learning: Smile-on
The Etihad radio ads were produced by BKP Media
The Tesco training project was produced by Green Shoot
Zenosis is produced by Leo Pink
IVR messages for L&G are produced for Brand Audio
