I recently recorded a video narration for a corporate video for the largest paper products manufacturer in the Middle East: Mepco. The video has just been posted on-line.

I was working once again with Rupert Chesman at Film-Me productions in the United Arab Emirates. I’m used to corporate clients often having pretty tight deadlines but this project was on a really fast turnaround. At the point I was sent the script the vision hadn’t actually been shot and the final video was to be part of a corporate presentation within a week.

By the time I recorded the first version of the voice over there was a rough cut to work to and then within a couple of days I recorded a new version of the VO and shortly after the final edit was done – on the day before the big presentation.
As Rupert put it: “Pretty fast for something only shot last week!”

The good news for me was that I have now recovered from the horrible bout of flu I had a few weeks ago. (“Proper” flu not “Man flu”!) It took me three weeks to recover and if Film-me had got in touch any sooner I’d never have been able to deliver the video narration.
