South Sudan – VO narration on-line

I recently mentioned a voice over that I had been asked to record for the Amsterdam based film production company Izzyworks. It was an interesting narration for a video explaining the supportive role of the Dutch Government in promoting the rebuilding of the war torn African country South Sudan.

At the point I previously posted about the job I thought it was more or less finished with perhaps just a couple of pick-ups needed from me.  In the event the job had to be signed off by a number of different Governmental and Embassy staff – the result was that it underwent several revisions and I ended up recording the narration in full three times with a couple of additional amends after that plus some other material for a version of the film for people with sight disabilities.

It was important to the client that every detail was inspected and checked so that there would be nothing untoward in the final video. Although this can be frustrating in clients I can’t really complain as its an approach I adopt myself to my voice over and studio work – everything has to be right and the very best I can make it.

Anyway the video is now on-line  – you can view it on the Izzyworks website or here
