Radio cameo for Olympic star
In a brief moment waiting for a voiceover script to arrive I was just getting up to date on the news – checking out the BBC news website.
I came across a story that you’ve probably heard about where Olympic star Bradley Wiggins was making a cameo appearance on Radio 4’s long running soap The Archers.
I’m not sure what this says about me but when I looked on the BBC website and saw the photo of him in the studio with some of the cast my first thought was: “Wonder what kind of mic it is that they’re using there?”
It was a mic I’d never seen before but I had to do some research before discovering exactly what it is. You can find out more on my microphone studio blog.
